Many people are just living their life in super excuse mode, unaware that they are living like that, there is an excuse for every area of their life, whether it be in regards to spirituality, health, family, wealth, dreams, and adventure. What excuses are you making in these areas that are holding you back? Robin Sharma said it so eloquently in one of his videos, “Our limits are liars and our fears are thieves.” What limits have you set on your life? What areas are you holding yourself back? What areas are you living life in a state of fear? You should never allow fear to decide your future, let your future be decided with faith, conviction, persistence, hard work, and grit. Identify the mental blockades that you have within yourself and start to eradicate them with fearless action.
Top Excuses People Make:
I am not good enough (You are good enough)
There is too much competition (I eat the competition for breakfast)
I don’t have a degree (Many successful people are high school dropouts)
I’m not smart enough (You can learn)
My parents stopped me (You are responsible for your life, don’t act like a little baby)
No Money (Be more resourceful, if you need money go get it if it’s that important)
No TIME (Set goals, schedule your days, you need to know your priorities)
Excuses, the killer of dreams, hopes, ambition, and a real life. Many hide behind their excuses because they prefer the timid life as that is easy but you must muster up the courage and take action, action is what truly makes the difference, and action is what changes things positively for you. Try this experiment to actually see the difference action makes, in every major area of your life take more action from today, focused action on the right aspects that will help move your life in the direction of your goals and dreams rather than into the ditch of cowardice.
Do you not see that if you follow the 95% and do what they do on a daily basis then you will fall into the abyss of mediocrity, the sheep are being led by the sheep as humans prefer to take the path of least resistance, however if you do what the lazy folk do then life will be hard, take a look around you, the people who have taken the path of least resistance, effort, change, and development, look at how they live, from my observation these types of people are struggling in life because of their refusal to make an effort, to put in the work, to make a determined effort to learn, to persevere, and to believe in themselves.
You are more capable than you know, never let your current situation determine your future, the future is a matter of what you do today, and you have the capabilities to have a say how you would like to live your life because you can, you are able to create the life of your dreams, see the life you truly want to live every single day in your mind, use your imagination, the power of your imagination should not be taken lightly, it is a powerful force that can push you towards a greater life. Believe in yourself, stop making excuses, just stop with them, no one wants to hear that nonsense, talk about what action you are taking, talk about your goals, your next steps, your blessings, your dreams and the impact and difference you want to make in the world.
Go out there and be the best that you can be, and to be the best you must eliminate the excuses and become an individual who takes daily consistent action. Action is the key to success.
“excuses are the nails used to build the house of failure.”
